Find the Joker
July 5, 2009We are replacing our normal weekly ballot with a new fund-raising idea “FIND THE JOKER”. There will be a deck of 52 playing cards plus THE JOKER placed face down in a lockable cabinet. Tickets will be sold as normal at £1 each, and the winner of each weekly draw will have a chance to turn one card hoping to FIND THE JOKER. The club is sponsoring the 1st prize for week 1 which will be £100. For each week the JOKER is not found the jackpot increases by £20. We need 40 members to sponsor this weekly increase of £20, so please contact the club treasurer to pledge your support.
