The club is running a quiz in the clubroom’s this Friday night, 3rd April. There will be a meeting as usual at 8pm, so we will try to get this over sharply, and get the quiz under way by 9pm. Teams should consist of 3 to 4 persons, but feel free to turn up alone or with a friend and we will allocate you with a team. Entry cost is £2 per head and supper will be served at the break. We have been successful in obtaining a licence for the night and the bar will close at 1am.

Following the completion of the first 33 games in the JJB Sports Premiership, the League splits at this stage into Section A (top six) and Section B (bottom six). Glenavon’s remaining fixtures for the season are, subject to confirmation by the IFA Premiership:

The bus for Saturdays game away to Dungannon Swifts leaves MVP at 1.45pm and Moira at 2pm.
There will be no weekly meeting this Friday night 20th March. This is because of the club’s annual weekend trip to Scotland. Meeting as usual the following Friday at 8pm. Incidentally, there has been a sharp increase in the number of young supporters wanting to join the club. With the recent new additions it brings the membership total to 134.
Glenavon are home this Saturday to Newry City ko 3pm, in a vital bottom of the table clash. Clubroom opens 1.45pm.
Glenavon travel to Ballymena this Saturday 7th March for the rearranged league fixture. Bus leaves MP at 1.15pm and Moira 1.30pm.
