Bus to Coleraine leaves MVP at 12.45pm and Moira at 1.00pm. Members note that we will be stopping for tea on the way home at the Tullyglass House Hotel in Ballymena. Cost will be £10 for the 6 course carvery.

Glenavon are home this Saturday to Ballinamallard ko 3.00pm. Clubroom open from 1.30pm. Find the Joker jackpot £620. The club photograph will take place at 2.00pm so be in Clubroom before that. Club ties to be worn. Irish Cup will be on display and members can purchase a photo if desired. On Tuesday night we travel to Glentoran ko 7.45pm. Bus leaves MVP at 6.30pm and Moira at 6.45pm. The Crusaders game on 8th October has been postponed.

War Memorial Unveiling

“On Friday night, 7.15pm a new memorial to 15 Glenavon FC players who paid the supreme sacrifice 100 years ago will be unveiled for the first time.
“We would like to cordially invite everyone to take part in this short service of rememberance before the game against Ards.

Meeting to decide venue for Triangle weekend 8.00pm. Man Utd v Southampton game showing in Clubroom at 8.00pm. Tomorrow we have 2 buses booked for Linfield game. Both leave MVP at 1.45pm and Moira at 2.00pm.

Glenavon host KR Reykjavik tomorrow night in the 2nd leg of the Europa Cup ko 7.45pm. Supporters can pay at the turnstiles price £12 and £8 concession. Note that due to Uefa regulations the Clubroom will not be open until after the game. A big support is urged to help the players make it to the next round.

It is with deep regret to inform members of the passing of club stalwart Cecil Anderson yesterday evening. Cecil’s funeral is at 2.00pm on Friday in Hill Street Presbyterian Church.

Annual Dinner and awards

The Club’s Annual Dinner was help in the Bedeck Suite on Friday evening past. Jonny Tuffey winning the Player of the season award and Joel Cooper the Young player of the season.

The Southern Area Hospice were donated a cheque for £1500.

The Glenavon Players Fund were presented a cheque for £1,000 for reaching the Irish Cup Final for the 2nd time in 3 years. 

Finally The Triangle Supporters club donated a cheque  £12,500 to Glenavon,bringing the total donation for the season to just over £15,000.
