Saturdays Crusaders Match

We will be showing the Spurs v Liverpool game at 5.30pm following Glenavon’s home league fixture against Crusaders this Saturday.  Home made Irish Stew will be served.

Tuesday Nights Game

Clubroom opens at 6.45pm for Tuesday nights game with Crusaders in the CIS Cup ko 7.45pm.

Glentoran game

We will be opening the clubroom at 12.15pm this Saturday to show the Hamilton vs Rangers game – sandwiches will be served.  Following our own game with Glentoran we will be screening the Blackburn vs Middlesboro match at 5.30pm.

Valentines dance

The club decided to revamp what was originally know as “Ladies Night”.  We will be running a combined effort between the 3 clubs on Friday 13th February 2009 in Brownlow House.  Music is by “The Untouchables” and tickets are now available priced £15 which includes a fork buffet.  We will initially receive 40 tickets which will be sold on a first come first served basis.

Bus Arrangements V Institute

The Club will not be running a bus to the Institute game this Saturday.  This is mainly because quite a few members will be in Scotland this weekend.  A straw poll taken on the bus last Saturday revealed only a few would have been going to Co. Londonderry and therefore it was not economically feasible.  However, we have arranged with the other 2 clubs that any of our members will be accommodated on their buses.  The Victoria departs Mourneview Park at 12 noon whilst the William Walker SC leaves at 12.45pm.  The Victoria bus returns straight after the game whilst the William Walker will be stopping for tea in Cookstown and have said that any Triangle member wishing to join them will be very welcome.

Dungannon Bus

The bus for the Dungannon Swifts game on Saturday leaves Mourneview Park at 1.45pm and Moira at 2pm.

N.Ireland Game

The clubroom will open on our return from Dungannon on Saturday.  We will be showing the Slovenia v Northern Ireland game ko 7.45pm.  Supper will be served.

Valentines Night Dance

The Amalgamated Glenavon Supporters Club are running a Valentines dance in Brownlow House on Friday 13th February 2009.  Music by The Untouchables and a fork buffet included, tickets will go on sale soon price £15 each.   First come first served.

Bangor Stopover

We will be stopping for tea at the Strangford Arms Hotel following the Bangor game on 8th November. The costs for members is £5 for chicken or roast beef, or £10 for steak.  Names will be taken on the day.

Turkey Night

The clubs annual Turkey Night takes place on Friday 12th December.  Catering as usual by Alan Hamilton – price £5 per head.  We will have our meal in the Bedeck Suite followed by entertainment in the clubroom – music by Paul.  The list is up in the clubroom so get your name down!
