Stopover for Tea

This Saturday we travel to Institute for our last match in the first round of IPL fixtures.  Bus leaves MVP at 12.30pm and Moira at 12.45pm.  We will be stopping for tea in the Glenavon House Hotel, Cookstown, steak £10 and fish/chicken £5.  We should arrive back in Lurgan around 9.30pm.  Anyone not wishing to stop for tea will be accommodated on another bus.


Home to Dungannon

This Saturday sees our second home fixture in 4 days when we play high fliers Dungannon Swifts.  Clubroom will open at 12.30pm to show the Kilmarnock v Rangers match.  Anyone without a season ticket will be required to leave the gate money behind the bar.  We will also be showing the West Ham v Liverpool game at 5.30pm.  Spot the Joker snowball, if not won on Tuesday, will be £280.


Glens at Home

Tuesday night (15th Sept) sees Glenavon host Glentoran in the IPL.  Clubroom opens 6.45pm.  Spot the Joker snowball £260.


Newry City Date Change

Glenavon’s Carling Premiership game away to Newry City, originally scheduled for Saturday 3rd October, has been re-arranged for Friday 2nd October, kick-off 7:45pm.


Registration Success

The Club’s application for Registration was successful today (Tuesday) at Craigavon Court.  We are now a fully registered club.  Bar facilities will now be restored for our meetings on Friday nights, as well as other occasional nights that are in the pipeline.  Incidently, there will be a short committee meeting this Friday night at 7.15pm, followed by the normal weekly meeting at 8pm.


Crusaders Bus

Next Saturday 12th September we travel to Seaview for our IPL game with Crusaders.  Bus leaves MVP at 1.30pm and Moira at 1.45pm.  FIND THE JOKER snowball will be £240.
